After months of hard work and intensive effort, QCell Limited launched its telecommunications services in the Republic of Sierra Leone on Tuesday 8th January 2019. The company opened its doors and started distribution of its much anticipated free SIM cards.
The Gambian owned telecommunications company is the first to expand its operations into another country. The regional move was inaugurated with a visit to The President, His Excellency, Julius Maada Bio by the company’s CEO, Muhammed Jah and a number of the company’s key personnel.
QCell Sierra Leone’s values and mission are revealed in its tagline “Salone Pride” and its slogan “We innovate and inspire others to follow”. As with its sister company in The Gambia, the company aims to become the biggest, most reliable and affordable voice and data network in the country of Sierra Leone.
